I am Dr. P.B.Tirupathi Pichiah (Tiru) Ph.D.

My research focuses on how nutrients and medicines affects adipocyte (Fat Cell) physiology. I study lipid metabolism in fat cells and liver cells.

Our knowledge in nutrient mediated regulations of adipocyte physiology could be helpful in developing neutraceuticals for treatments of Obesity and diabetics.
